Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for working directly with Life Evergreen’s executive team to prepare financial reports and budgets and analyze financial trends for our global operations.

You will work with finance team members to improve our existing financial reporting, streamline our budgeting processes, enhance data-based management decision making strategy, and enhance operational efficiency. You will support cost and pricing analyses and will help to enhance Life Evergreen by identifying and evaluating opportunities for improving our resource utilization.

You will need to display great initiative and independence, together with strong financial acumen and interpersonal skills including proactively resolving issues before they arise. You will also have input into Life Evergreen’s overall financial processes and will contribute significantly to determining how the company’s finance policies evolve over time. This new position will report directly to the global CFO.

  1. You will report and forecast the company financials with analyses, both periodically and ad hoc, including information from various global operational offices
  2. You will prepare and present to management operation and consolidated global budgets
  3. You will also be responsible for handling A/P, A/R and payroll
  4. The external auditors and accountants will communicate with you to obtain information
  5. When you identify areas for improvement, you will offer suggestions about resource utilization, finance and tax strategies, and assumptions impacting forecasts
  6. You will promptly resolve any inter-office financial matters to ensure efficient reporting

A highly reliable individual with enthusiasm, service orientation, and attention to detail is required, combined with excellent communication skills. You will have these qualifications:

  1. A BA/BS degree in accounting or a related field
  2. Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  3. High motivation and intelligence with strong oral/written English language communication skills
  4. Capability to operate independently and flexibly in a small company environment which is both demanding and multicultural
  5. Comfort working in a team environment
  6. 2+ years of successful work experience in a finance or accounting role
  7. Capacity and desire to learn and grow very rapidly in a dynamic organization

Desirable additional skills and experience:

  1. Past experience with auditing
  2. Familiarity with FACTA requirements
  3. A meticulous, thorough and precise work approach
  4. Work proficiency with the MS Office suite
  5. Additional spoken and written language

Social Media Intern

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for monitoring and boosting engagement on Life Evergreen’s social media channels, designing and managing social media campaigns, and creating original and compelling share-worthy content.

We seek a creative individual who will display great initiative and independence, together with strong organizational, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.

  1. Your primary responsibility will be to increase Life Evergreen’s online visibility through social media. This includes responding appropriately to messages received through social media, finding and engaging users, and increasing followership
  2. You will design and successfully execute social media campaigns and present quantitative results of the campaigns
  3. Using text, photography, video, and infographics you will create compelling online content
  4. You will contribute to Life Evergreen’s blog with relevant content
  5. You will create pieces for email newsletters

A highly reliable individual with enthusiasm, creativity, and keen attention to detail is required, combined with excellent verbal and visual communication skills. You will have these qualifications:

  1. Strong working knowledge of social media: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs, Pinterest, and Instagram
  2. High motivation and intelligence with strong English communication skills
  3. Ability to operate independently and flexibly in a small company environment which is both demanding and multicultural
  4. Talent to leverage social networks to strengthen relationships with existing clients and partners and increase the number of impressions and engagements

  1. Working proficiency with Adobe Design Suite
  2. An eye for good design
